A rapidly resolving prolactinoma with cabergoline treatment

Introduction: Prolactinomas are the most common pituitary tumors. Macroadenomas are rarely seen. Dopamine agonists such bromocriptin and cabergoline are the preferred treatments for prolactinomas. Fungal sinusitis caused by Aspergillus in a patient with type 1 diabetes

Objective: Aspergillosis is defined as the infection of the Aspergillus type mold and is commonly seen in hematologic malignancies, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, aplastic anemia, primary immunodeficiency, and immunocompromised patients. Fungal sinusitis in diabetes mellitus is generally presented as rhinoorbitocerebral involvement of mucormycosis.
